Rev. Bert MarshallServices

Appropriate placement involves hard work for families, students and for the consultant. A family who works with Educational Counseling can expect the following:

  • Meeting with the family a whole to take an educational inventory and to establish goals and to develop a plan.

  • Meeting with the student to take an interest inventory and to discuss long and short term goals.

  • A list of schools with a range of programs, and likelihood of admission.

  • Advice on necessary and appropriate testing.

  • Coordination of school visits and applications.

  • Advocating for the student in the admissions process and maintaining the family’s communication with admissions offices.

  • An ongoing dialogue about the list of schools, visits and application procedures.
